The Tramp

glasses, BonLook / coat, The Vintage Mistress / sweater, First Ladies Vintage / skirt, vintage / bracelet, Clyde's Rebirth / socks, Target / shoes, Zara / camera bag, vintage

When I saw this sweater pop up on Niki's (the adorable proprietress of First Ladies Vintage) Instagram feed, I literally ran to her house to scoop it up before anyone else could. While I'd like to be one of those women who can mix and match basic pieces in a way that always looks new (I'm working on it), I can't help but gravitate towards the weird, silly, and one-of-a-kind. Besides, I have a Chaplin-style bowler and one day I'll wear it with this sweater and then I'll have to shut down this blog because I'll never be able to top that.

(and now this blog post has to end because I've been sucked into an 80s movie clip internet wormhole...)

  3. I HAVE to say that I am monster jealous of that sweater! I've been cultivating a small collection of Chaplin goods over the years but haven't invested in any Chaplin-themed clothes yet. I have a giant tattoo of Chaplin on my thigh, so I've always thought wearing a Chaplin shirt would be going a little over board. But the man's a genius...and iconic! Great find. I, too, tend to gravitate towards those weird, unique, one-of-a-kind goods even though I should be focusing more in the direction of easy to mix & match, versatile pieces. You can never beat a good conversation starter sweater!
