  1. I absolutely love every single one of these outfits. You have such an amazing eye! I must say you are a true inspiration to me as a fellow lover of vintage. I've Loved vintage clothing since I was in 7th grade. I used to get picked on for wearing actual bell bottoms, peasant shirts & hippie dresses they called them. That never changed my outlook and love for vintage. I've been wanting to start my own store and sell vintage items for about 15 years now and I feel you have inspired me to move forward with my store. Reading your blogs and seeing your ingenuity, passion, and true love for vintage clothing is really an inspiration. I'm hoping I didn't miss the mark to open my own store. I was recently laid off from my regular job and feel this is the best time to start my business. I have longed to vintage clothing and other vintage and antique items like those little owl planters from the 70's. I have quite a large collection of antiques and vintage items that I've been collecting for many years in anticipation for starting a store, I just never found that eBay was the right place for me so I held out. Hopefully Etsy will be the right place for me. Sorry for such a long comment, I just wanted to let you know how truly inspiring you are to me, even at my own risk of sounding truly corny LOL. I look forward to reading more of your blog posts and seeing more of you're awesome vintage collection. If you have any tips for someone like me starting off,I'd be truly grateful and happy if you could share some. Thank you!

    1. Alicia,
Thank you so much for the kind words, and for sharing about your vintage journey and goals. It's definitely not too late to open your own store! You should absolutely do it. I suppose my advice would be to really identify your own personal style and hone in on what you really love, and sell that. I think customers can tell what sellers are truly passionate about, and like to partake in that themselves. Good photographs help, too. :)

Best of luck to you in your new venture! Thank you again for stopping by and reading here,

      Lora
